PRIVACY POLICY

Ringscape · Last updated: July 28, 2026

Ringscape is an arcade game available as an iOS app ("the app") and a browser game ("the website"). This policy describes what information the game handles. The short version: Ringscape has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and collects nothing about you unless you choose to post a score to the public leaderboard.

INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO SUBMIT

If you submit a score to the global leaderboard, we store:

Display names and scores are publicly visible to all players on the leaderboard. This information is not linked to your identity, and we have no way to connect it to you. Submitting is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it.

GAMEPLAY STATISTICS

To understand difficulty and improve the game, the game records anonymous run statistics (score and run duration). These contain no personal information and are not linked to any player.

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

Your best score, sound preference, and last-used leaderboard name are saved locally on your device so they persist between sessions. They never leave your device except as described above when you submit a score.

TECHNICAL PROCESSING

When a score is submitted, the server briefly processes your IP address solely to limit abuse (rate-limiting of submissions). Leaderboard data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase. We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking of any kind.

CHILDREN

Ringscape does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The only user-provided content is the optional leaderboard display name.

REMOVING YOUR DATA

Because leaderboard entries are not linked to identities, we cannot look up "your" data — but if you tell us the display name and approximate score of an entry you submitted, we will remove it. Contact us at the address below.

CHANGES

If our data practices change, this page will be updated with a new date above.
